IMPORTANT INFORMATION:
Please note that all test shoots require a phone conversation prior to the shoot to discuss the details and goals of the shoot . You may bring a friend or chaperone to the studio or shoot location to accompany you during hair, makeup, wardrobe fitting, etc., but they will not be permitted to come on set in the studio or be near the on-location shooting area during the actual photo shoot unless you request and receive permission from John prior to the shoot. Models under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian at all times. All models must sign a standard model release form when they arrive for the photo shoot.
After the photo shoot, you will be provided with a link to an online proofing gallery for your review. (Typically within 5 business days). These are the watermarked RAW, unedited photos directly from camera that you will look through to narrow down to the 10 photos that you like best. If you are not sure which photos capture you the best, John will be glad to use his expert eye and experience to choose the best ones for you. The watermarked RAW photos from this proof set MAY NOT be downloaded, screen-shotted, shared, or published online. You may, however, purchase an individual RAW photo without a watermark for an additional fee of $35 each or $500 for the entire photo set. (This is a great option for models who sell images on subscription-based platforms and need a larger volume of photos than what typically comes with a basic test shoot.)
After you have selected the photos to be edited from the proof set, a link to your completed retouched photos will be sent to you via email within 15 business days. Additional retouched photos may be purchased for $55 each. The final retouched photos will be shared with all contributors of the photo shoot including, but not limited to, the photographer, hair/makeup artists, stylists, and clothing/swimwear designers for portfolio and social media usage. For an additional $500, you can secure exclusive image rights, ensuring that you have full control over who gets to publish or share the final retouched photos. In simpler terms, you'll be the sole recipient that has the authority to distribute or publish them. This choice is commonly made by celebrities utilizing the images for publication or models specializing in exclusive content.
Retouching includes standard fixes like exposure and color correction, skin tone correction, blemish removal, sharpening, removing stray hairs from the face, and small background spot removal. Nonstandard image manipulation requests such as body reshaping, eye reshaping, tattoo removal, head swaps, extending the background, background object removal, and spot coloring are not included and will incur additional fees at a rate of $85/hour.
